There are over 150 000 people in housing need in the Czech Republic. The current situation logically exacerbates this problem.

Perceptions of freedom and trust in the press are linked to media literacy, which is average in the Czech Republic. The Nordic countries are at the top of the rankings for press freedom and trust in government and institutions.

Without a fundamental change in the exchange rate, the Czech Republic is heading for a period of systematic and rapid increase in public debt in the coming years.

For the Czech Republic, technology startups are the way from the “assembly plant to the brain factory”, i.e. the way to greater competitiveness of the knowledge-based economy.

An increase in the unemployment rate can be expected in the coming months. However, I would not be worried about high unemployment, the Czech labour market has more of a problem with employers finding it difficult to find people with suitable qualifications.

In general, the availability of services in case of an emergency in our country is very good. The situation is difficult in the area of health care for the homeless.
